About the Role
Our client is looking for a Junior Finance Data Analyst to support their finance and operations team. This role sits at the intersection of data, finance, and business insights, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured data, building models, and translating numbers into meaningful conclusions.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and U.S.-based clients, supporting financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting processes that directly impact business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Modeling
- Extract, clean, and structure financial and operational data from multiple sources
- Build and maintain financial models (budgets, cash flow forecasts, revenue projections)
- Reconcile data across systems and identify inconsistencies
- Create structured, scalable workflows and documentation
Financial Analysis
- Support analysis of business performance, trends, and key drivers
- Translate data into clear insights and summaries for decision-making
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and supporting materials for leadership review
Operations & Execution
- Manage tasks and deadlines across multiple projects
- Maintain organized documentation and file structures
- Contribute to improving internal processes, templates, and workflows
Client Interaction
- Collaborate with and support U.S.-based clients, understanding their financial models and business needs
- Communicate findings and insights clearly in English
Requirements
- Advanced English (mandatory) — you will be working directly with U.S. clients
- Strong skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel (formulas, structured models, data cleaning)
- Solid understanding of financial concepts (P&L, cash flow, basic accounting principles)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate insights, assumptions, and findings
- Comfortable working with data from multiple sources and systems
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systems
- Exposure to forecasting, budgeting, or KPI reporting
- Experience with Looker Studio or other BI tools
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Analytics
