This role is working at our Head office in Fareham working with in the Finance Team as a Junior Finance assistant You will assist and support the Finance manager with the purchase ledge and a range of other accounting duties.
Responsibilities in the role
Monitoring the purchase ledger emails
Checking purchase invoices and inputting on to sage and SharePoint
Collating credit card receipts and reconciling these against credit card statements
Assisting with the processing of supplier payments and sending remittances.
Ensuring aged creditors on sage are correct and investigating any supplier account issues
Answering supplier payment and account queries via telephone and email.
Assisting as required, to ensure appropriate allocation of additional funding on the appropriate spreadsheets
Reconciling supplier Statements
Processing employee expense and mileage claims
Assistant in other finance related tasks as required.
Personal Specification
Strong GCSE passes in Maths and English
Excellent attention to detail
Enthusiastic and Willing to learn
Knowledge and experience of Excel Essential
A team player with the ability to work effectively within a small team environment
Previous knowledge and experience of working with Sage and/or SharePoint is desirable but not essential
Full Time - Monday-Friday (25-35hrs week, 52 weeks a year)
Salary range- £16,523.00 - £18,200.00
