Job Description

Job Title: Junior Financial Assistant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Financial Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Prepare and maintain sales reports

  • Process monthly payroll and issue payroll receipts

  • Purchase supplies for facility maintenance

  • Manage and organize documents for external accountants

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements

  • Develop and monitor payment projections

  • Prepare checks and wire transfers based on projections

  • Scan and submit supporting financial documentation

  • Perform bank reconciliations

  • Manage and reconcile petty cash

  • Maintain accurate expense tracking records

Additional Responsibilities

  • Review daily billing activities for accuracy

  • Process international transfers

  • Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain approved supplier lists

  • Request and evaluate quotations for purchases

  • Supervise remittance deliveries

  • Receive, review, and process financial documents

  • Monitor and control cash withdrawals

  • Coordinate messaging and correspondence services

  • Provide support during external audits

  • Manage and track disbursement requests

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role is preferred

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software

    • Intermediate computer literacy

  • Knowledge Areas:

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and local financial regulations

  • Language: Basic proficiency in English
