Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Financial Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain sales reports
Process monthly payroll and issue payroll receipts
Purchase supplies for facility maintenance
Manage and organize documents for external accountants
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
Develop and monitor payment projections
Prepare checks and wire transfers based on projections
Scan and submit supporting financial documentation
Perform bank reconciliations
Manage and reconcile petty cash
Maintain accurate expense tracking records
Review daily billing activities for accuracy
Process international transfers
Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain approved supplier lists
Request and evaluate quotations for purchases
Supervise remittance deliveries
Receive, review, and process financial documents
Monitor and control cash withdrawals
Coordinate messaging and correspondence services
Provide support during external audits
Manage and track disbursement requests
Education: Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role is preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Intermediate computer literacy
Knowledge Areas:
Basic understanding of accounting principles and local financial regulations
Language: Basic proficiency in English
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Effective report writing abilities
Knowledge of local financial and tax laws
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good organizational and time management skills
High level of integrity and ethical standards
