Join our Team as a Junior Finance Administrator!

Location: Whiteley (Office Based)

Salary: £26,000-£28,000 Per Annum

Hours: 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

Contract: 6 Month FTC

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Finance Administrator to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract and provide essential backfill support. This role is focused on managing high-volume administrative duties, account reconciliations, and manual processing tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in "firefighting" daily administrative hurdles, ensuring smooth operations while the department transitions toward automated processes.

  • Previous experience in a junior finance, accounts receivable, collections admin, or general administrative role is highly desirable.

  • A "can-do" attitude with the ability to handle repetitive manual tasks with high accuracy.

  • Comfortable working in a changing environment where processes are being automated and transformed.

  • Clear professional communication skills for managing internal SF emails and vendor queries.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce, and Excel.

  • Familiarity with financial portals (e.g., Coupa) is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Mailbox Management: Monitor and action high-volume Outlook mailboxes, including Statements, Invoices, and Print Invoices.

  • Account Reconciliation: Perform manual Purchase Order (PO) matching and reconciliation, specifically focusing on complex accounts.

  • Invoicing & Portals: Manage the upload and administration of invoices to various customer portals on a weekly basis.

  • Financial Administration: Handle "Tech Funds" processing and internal Salesforce email queries.

  • End-of-Cycle Processing: Assist with the administration of write-offs, write-off journaling, and insolvency/liquidation management.

  • Late Payment Administration: Support the team in identifying and applying late payment fees.

  • Data Entry : Ensure all manual data entry into financial systems is accurate to support the upcoming transition to automated workflows.
