We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, competent, and experienced individual from within our team to fill the vacant position of a Junior Field Marketing Officer (S) at Watu Uganda.

DUTY STATION; KAMPALA CENTRAL

; The Junior Field Marketing Officer promotes and sells EV bikes within assigned territories through direct customer engagement and dealer support, driving product awareness, lead generation, and sales conversions while representing the brand and gathering market feedback
  Key Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Conduct EV product and financing awareness campaigns in the field under guidance.
  • Follow up on client leads generated through activations, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist Field Marketing Officers in door-to-door engagement, lead conversion, and client on boarding.
  • Participate in EV test rides, demos, and field events to generate product interest.
  • Educate customers on Watu’s EV value proposition and support in resolving objections.
  • Record client interaction outcomes in CRM tools and ensure accuracy in daily activity reporting.
  • Attend field coaching sessions, learn sales strategies, and shadow successful sales reps.
  • Coordinate with swap station partners and branch support teams during client on boarding.
  • Engage communities and prospects in high-footfall areas to grow EV brand visibility.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor/management
Minimum Job Requirements;
  • The Ideal candidate must be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years in customer service, client relations, or sales within the financial services or lending industry.
  • Experience in asset finance or electric mobility solutions is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software for data entry and scheduling.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and concerns with patience and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Team player with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Well-developed computer skills, including proven ability to use google sheets and company systems
  • Reporting skills and deadline-driven
  • Possession of a valid rider’s /driver’s license (Class A or equivalent) to facilitate field engagements is an added advantage
