? JUNIOR Field Guide

A luxury safari lodge situated in the heart of the KZN is seeking an enthusiastic, junior
Field Guide
to join their team. This role is ideal for a passionate, newly qualified guide looking to gain valuable industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Guiding
    : Conduct exceptional, informative game drives across the reserve.

  • Hosting Duties
    : Host guests for dinners and social evenings an average of 7 times per month.

  • Lodge Operations
    : Assist with general maintenance, lodge projects, and camp duties during quieter periods when no drives are scheduled.


Requirements


Requirements & Preferences

  • Qualifications
    : Valid NQF2/CATHSSETA qualifications and Up to date NDT Registration

  • No Trails Requirement
    : This lodge focuses entirely on vehicle-bound safaris. Candidates seeking to log walking hours or become trails guides will not be suitable.

  • Experience Level
    : Ideally suited for a young professional eager to learn and build a career in hospitality.

  • Attributes
    : Strong communication skills, a hospitable nature, and a proactive work ethic.
