Job Description
Identifies façade scope of work from received packages/drawings and conduct quantity take off to extract BOQ when needed.
Prepares and prices the BOQ of all the items from the drawings and specifications with summarized costing.
Analyzes project specifications and drawings to determine material and labor requirements
Gather, update and maintains prevailing market rates of all materials, labor, plant, machinery
Prepares comprehensive tender documents combining presentations and estimates or the final review by the commercial manager
Makes revisions in the prices as per the negotiation outputs informed by commercial manager
Prepares estimates for design changes in coordination with the technical and operations department
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in cost estimating for curtain wall systems or related construction fields-
Ability and will to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills in English.
