Leidos is seeking a Junior Exercise Planner to be a part of an exercise support team providing HSEEP exercise planning and design, development, conduct, and evaluation support for CISA’s National Cybersecurity Exercise Program (NCEP), including supporting all aspects of exercise coordination, documentation, participant support, and basic reporting activities. This role supports both day-to-day program operations and execution of exercise events by maintaining organized materials, tracking actions, and supporting tools used to register, track, and analyze participants and findings.

Junior Exercise Planner — (TS/SCI)
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Support aspects of exercise design, development, conduct, and evaluation on a team working concurrently on multiple exercises across the country.
Provide administrative and coordination support for exercise planning meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and capturing action minutes.
Support creation and maintenance of exercise documentation packages (e.g., invitations, sign-in sheets, meeting notes, and other administrative documents).
Support participant registration and tracking activities using technical tools provided/used by the program.
Support collection and organization of findings, recommendations, and lessons learned for post-exercise products.
Support program operations tasks as directed (e.g., maintaining an exercise calendar, assisting with content organization on CISA.gov/other platforms, supporting all-hands coordination).
Support development of exercise scenarios, discussion questions, injects, goals and objectives, exercise conduct materials, and evaluation materials.
Participate in meetings with Senior Exercise Planners and Regional Exercise Leads regularly to ensure timely production of materials and exercise execution.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to obtain DHS EOD.
2+ years experience developing, conducting, and evaluating HSEEP exercises.
Demonstrated experience writing exercise planning, conduct, and evaluation materials.
Experience providing administrative and documentation support in a fast-paced operations environment (meeting logistics, calendars, correspondence, and deadline tracking).
Strong attention to detail supporting editing/formatting so products align to style expectations and are free of grammatical errors.
Ability to meet DHS suitability and the clearance requirement applicable to the assigned role (TS/SCI for designated personnel; otherwise Public Trust fitness type), as described in the SOW.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Experience supporting data collection and basic analysis activities (e.g., compiling survey results and tracking trends over time).
Experience supporting dashboards or visual tools that provide visibility into operations and key performance indicators.
Experience with cybersecurity exercises.

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
