Junior Executive-Finance
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as an Junior Executive-Finance for it’s Head office in Colombo.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely Management Information (MI) reports to support effective decision-making
Analyzing product costing and profitability, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement
Assist in customer profitability analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Assist in managing and executing month-end financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Assist in annual stock-taking and perform internal process audits to maintain strong inventory and operational controls.
Assist in monitoring budget vs. actual performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
Support forecasting and budgeting activities across departments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Sales, Finance) to analyze costs and improve operational performance.
Follow up on VAT refund processes, ensuring timely submission and recovery.
Undertake any additional responsibilities or duties as reasonably assigned by management based on organizational need
Person’s Profile
Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting/Finance from a recognized University
Full / Part qualification in CA/CIMA is a definite advantage
Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing and or export Industry
Knowledge of tax regulations will be considered an added advantage
Exposure to SAP would be a definite advantage
An analytical mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
