Qualifications:

• A Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution (candidates with pending results will also be considered).
• Previous experience is not required but will be considered an added advantage, especially in the areas of field operations, crop management, or plantation work.
• Male candidates are preferred, aged 19-35 years.
• Strong ability to work in field environments and contribute effectively to the day-to-day plantation activities.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor conditions.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the plantation, including monitoring and maintaining equipment, coordinating labor, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Work closely with senior staff to monitor the growth of crops, ensuring they meet productivity targets. Take part in the planning and execution of irrigation, fertilization, and pest control strategies.
• Conduct regular field inspections to assess crop health, identify issues such as disease, pests, or environmental challenges, and propose solutions to optimize growth.
• Document and report crop health, daily activities, and any issues identified during inspections to senior management. Maintain accurate records of crop yield, environmental conditions, and resource usage.
• Supervise and guide field workers during planting, weeding, harvesting, and other critical field activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to best agricultural practices.
