Job Title: Junior Estimator (Desk Position) – Restoration Industry

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota

About Us: Paul Davis Restoration is a trusted leader in restoration services, specializing in repairing properties impacted by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. We pride ourselves on delivering rapid, precise, and dependable solutions to our clients, restoring properties swiftly to pre-loss condition.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and Junior Estimator for an in-person desk-based role. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing documentation, obtaining approvals and coordinating with internal/external teams to support successful restoration projects. This is a in-person position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for property restoration projects using provided documentation.

· Review damage documentation submitted by field teams, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy.

· Communicate and coordinate effectively with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal project managers regarding project scope and cost estimates.

· Monitor projects to ensure adherence to guidelines, budgets and timelines.

· Stay updated on industry standards, pricing trends, and insurance guidelines related to restoration and construction.

· Support internal project teams by clarifying scopes, estimates, and project details as needed.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Previous experience in restoration, construction, estimating, or insurance claims is beneficial but not required.

· Familiarity with estimating software such as Xactimate, Symbility/CoreLogic, or similar platforms is preferred.

· Strong analytical and organizational skills.

· Written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly presenting detailed estimates.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
