We are looking for a Junior ESG Specialist to be part of our Investment Products team within the Institutional and Wholesale Distribution (IWD) division. Within the distribution division, the team acts as the knowledge and support hub for all investment-related matters (markets, products, competition). Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the center of investment management in the Nordea Group, sitting within its Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. About this opportunity

Welcome to the IWD Investment Products ESG team. In our team, we provide practical knowledge on ESG matters pertaining to NAM’s policies and products and, as such, cover a wide range of ESG activities core to the distribution and marketing of our ESG capabilities. We add value by creating impactful ESG product content for our Institutional and Wholesale Distribution division. You will support the Investment Products ESG team in ongoing initiatives and gradually build your knowledge on ESG-related topics within a changing environment. Possible starting date is June 2026.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop ESG knowledge and expertise on NAM’s ESG practices and policies and support the Investment specialists
• Handling incoming requests from clients, sales and investment specialists in a timely manner and with attention to detail
• Support the team of investment specialists in Request for Proposals (RFP) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) on ESG related topics
• Support a wide range of ESG-related projects (e.g. Label applications, Reports, Research, etc.)
• Support and contribute to key ESG sales & client education programs
• Contribute to new ideas to help NAM maintain its ESG brand recognition and leadership

Your profile and background:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance or other relevant field (or about to graduate)
• Studies related to ESG/Sustainability are considered as a plus
• Effective written and spoken communicator in English
• Mastering another common European language is considered an asset
• Demonstrated interest in AI tools as a source of efficiency
