Junior Engineer - Entry-Level Role Designed for a Recent Graduate
Join One of Australia's Largest In-House Engineering Teams
UGLs’ Major Projects business unit delivers large‑scale EPC projects across transport, energy, resources and industrial sectors, including nationally significant work such as Cross River Rail, Victorian Big Battery, and major power assets. These are complex, high-impact projects that bring together multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, end-to-end engineering solutions.
Right now, we’re supporting the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane, particularly through its testing and commissioning phase. To help us through this stage, we’ve created a new permanent full time opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join the team.
This is an entry-level engineering role designed for a recent graduate or early-career professional who’s keen to build real-world experience on major infrastructure projects. About the role

Over time, you’ll gain hands-on experience on site, contributing to commissioning activities and broader project delivery.
You’ll work closely with engineers, project teams and external partners, learning how complex systems come together in a live operational environment.
