About the job

The successful candidate will ensure the accurate and timely execution of EMC emission and immunity tests in compliance with applicable standards, ensuring the correct configuration of test setups and laboratory instrumentation.
The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting measurement data, preparing clear technical reports aligned with company standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with internal teams to manage non-conformities and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and activities.

This role will be based in Fabriano (AN) - Italy, and reports to the EMC Laboratory Manager.

Your tasks

  • Perform EMC emission testing, including:

- Radiated and conducted emissions;

- Harmonics and flicker testing;

- EMC electrical safety testing;

- Testing according to IEC, ISO, and CISPR standards.

  • Perform EMC immunity testing, including:

- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD);

- Surge, Ring Wave, and Fast Transient/Burst (EFT);

- Voltage dips and short interruptions;

- Radiated and conducted immunity;

- Other immunity tests in accordance with IEC, ISO, and CISPR standards.

  • Analyze test results and support the execution of EMC compliance activities;
  • Work in a laboratory environment using standard electronic test equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline;
  • Solid understanding of Electromagnetics, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts;
  • Experience using laboratory instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes and multimeters) and working in a test laboratory environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail;
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
  • Good command of English (B2 level);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

The compensation package for this position is expected to range between €29.000 and €35.000 gross per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and the scope of the role, applying objective and gender-neutral criteria, and may be slightly below or above this range.
