We're Hiring: Junior Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer (Design & Panel Building)
Location:Strand, Western Cape | Full-Time | Industry: Electrical/Automation
Are you ready to kickstart your engineering career and build real-world systems that power industries?
We're looking for a driven Junior Engineer who's eager to roll up their sleeves and dive into real design work, just skill, passion, and experience.
Design Motor Control Centres (MCCs) and PLC control systems
Work with AutoCAD Electrical (3-5 yrs exp) & E-Plan (2-3 yrs exp)
Build and review electrical panels alongside our workshop team
Develop QC documentation, IO lists, cable schedules, and parts lists
Collaborate with our Engineering Manager, suppliers, clients, and installation teams
Assist with basic project management tasks and implement redlines post-installation
National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
Real-world experience using AutoCAD Electrical & E-Plan
Understanding of electrical panel building and industrial control systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A hands-on attitude and willingness to grow in a fast-paced engineering team
