Job Description

About the Role

This position is responsible to support the timely production of high-quality Social Science (Social Studies, History, Geography, Atlases, Pakistan Studies) and Computer Science titles in accordance with curriculum requirements and set budgets. The role involves handling assigned projects from commissioning to print-ready manuscripts and digital resources, in cooperation with and in support of the line manager.

The incumbent will be expected to:

  • Edit, proofread and quality check print and digital content for accuracy, curriculum alignment, appropriate level and consistency.
  • Collaborate with authors, reviewers, designers and internal teams to ensure the timely development and delivery of high-quality, inclusive and engaging educational resources.
  • Gather and analyse curriculum, market, customer and competitor insights through research and engagement with teachers, schools and internal teams to support publishing decisions.

About You

The candidate should have:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and excellent English language skills.
  • Strong editorial skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • An understanding of curriculum and pedagogy, with an interest in developing subject knowledge.
  • Good digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, and an interest in the responsible use of AI and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, time management and collaboration skills.
  • Teaching experience at primary and secondary levels.
