The Role: Junior DTP Operator

As a Junior DTP Operator, you'll prepare and adapt artwork into accurate, print-ready files across campaigns, packaging, and point-of-sale materials. You'll work closely with designers and production teams, ensuring all files meet brand guidelines and printer specifications. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their technical expertise while contributing to smooth and high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate print-ready files from approved master artwork

• Adapt artwork into multiple formats and sizes for campaigns and packaging

• Apply and update content in line with brand guidelines

• Support rollout of point-of-sale, packaging, and digital artwork

• Ensure all file deliveries meet printer and supplier specifications

• Maintain organised file structures and version control

• Liaise with designers and production staff to ensure timely job completion

About You

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a DTP, studio, layout, or repro role

• Grade 12 certificate

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) on Mac OS

• Strong attention to layout accuracy and formatting

• Solid understanding of production artwork setup (bleed, colour mode, resolution)

• Exposure to preparing print-ready artwork and basic knowledge of print processes

• Familiarity with POS materials, packaging, and signage is advantageous

• Reliable, organised, and able to deliver under tight deadlines

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop a technical skillset
