About the Role

As a Junior Document Controller, you will support the effective management of project documentation and data, ensuring information is accurate, controlled and accessible across the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, you'll play an important role in administering project documentation while continuing to develop your document control expertise within a large-scale infrastructure environment.

Initially based in Brisbane CBD, this role will transition to the Sunshine Coast as project mobilisation progresses.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of document control processes across the project lifecycle
• Maintain document registers, correspondence and technical documentation
• Support document review, approval and distribution workflows
• Ensure current document revisions are issued to relevant stakeholders
• Upload, track and manage drawings, specifications and project records
• Maintain document retention, retrieval and filing systems
• Provide document control support to project teams and stakeholders
• Assist with reporting and project document compliance requirements
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across project systems and processes

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll be highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to further develop your career within document control.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in a Document Controller, Junior Document Controller or Project Administrator role within construction, engineering, infrastructure, resources or a similar project-based environment
• Hands-on experience using TeamBinder (InEight) is essential
• Understanding of document control processes, workflows and governance requirements
• Experience managing technical documentation and controlled records
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
• Experience with Aconex or other document management systems will be highly regarded
