Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Learning Designer, you help transform subject-matter expertise into engaging, accessible digital learning experiences. You support the end-to-end creation of e-learning modules from outlining and storyboarding through building, testing, and publishing so employees can learn effectively across devices and platforms.

Responsabilities:

Your main tasks will be as follows:

• Develop digital learning content by converting existing materials (e.g., slide decks, documents, videos) into structured, learner-friendly modules aligned to clear learning objectives

• Storyboard course flows by drafting screen-by-screen scripts, interactions, and narration notes to create a strong “backbone” before production.

• Design and build interactive e-learning modules using an authoring tool (e.g., Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Teach Up) leveraging templates and established standards.

• Source and create multimedia assets (graphics, icons, screenshots, short videos, audio/voice-over elements) while maintaining visual consistency and accessibility-minded design choices.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to clarify content, validate accuracy, reduce rework, and incorporate feedback through iterative drafts.

• Optimize learning structure by organizing modules into clear chapters/sections and keeping experiences concise and “bite-sized” for retention (commonly ~15–20 minutes per module).

• Package and publish content in standard formats (e.g., SCORM/AICC where applicable) and support upload/updates in the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Quality-check and test modules prior to release ensuring navigation clarity, consistent styling, cross-browser/device performance, and assessment functionality—then help run pilots and resolve issues.

• Leverage AI tools responsibly (e.g., generative AI for drafting, ideation, or multimedia support) to accelerate content creation while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives.

Required skills & profile

Experience

• Ability to write measurable learning objectives and apply basic learning principles (e.g., structuring content, practice/assessment alignment).

• Hands-on experience (academic projects, internships, portfolio work, or junior role) with at least one e-learning authoring tool such as Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Teach up.

• Comfort working with text, visuals, and simple media editing to build clean, engaging learning screens. Comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., content generation, scripting, visual support) as part of a content creation workflow, with an understanding of their limitations

• Ability to create storyboards/scripts that specify on-screen text, visuals, interactions, and (if needed) narration/voice-over direction.

• Ability to test learning modules across browsers/devices and fix issues related to formatting, navigation, or usability.

Languages:

• Mandatory: English

• Nice to have: French, and any additional European language
