As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that powers our products. You'll work across multiple cloud and on-premise environments, supporting deployment processes, infrastructure reliability, and automation while collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teams.
🌟 What You'll Do
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure the availability of on-premise servers.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across multiple providers, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Tencent Cloud.
- Manage DevOps operations, including logging, metrics & monitoring, automation, and Bash scripting.
- Administer Linux servers, including user management, file permissions, process management, system services, cron jobs, and package management.
- Configure networking components such as firewalls, DNS, reverse proxies (Nginx), TLS/SSL certificate management, load balancing, VPNs, and tunneling.
- Manage containerized services using Docker Compose, including container networking, image optimization, volume management, health checks, and private registries.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems, including server metrics, application health checks, log aggregation, uptime monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using shell scripting, cron jobs, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Research, propose, and implement infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to support deployments and operational needs.
✅ What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration, Bash scripting, and system fundamentals.
- Good understanding of HTTP, networking fundamentals, including firewalls, ports, DNS, and reverse proxies.
- Knowledge of DevOps fundamentals, including CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Tencent Cloud, or other cloud providers.
- Experience with tools or technologies such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Ansible, Node.js, Python, or PHP is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
