Junior Developer – Web Development (TEMP)

Department: Circ. & Value Chain Trans. : Managed Services/Outsourcing

Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Location: Philippines

We are seeking a Dot Net developer responsible for building Dot Net application using C#, Microsoft SQL, Web API, MVC, Entity Frameworks, and various front-end technologies. This is a full stack role. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development:

• Assist in the design, development, and support of web-based application solutions.
• Help with programming tasks within specification by software development lead or immediate supervisor.

• Code Maintenance:

• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in existing software components, ensuring stability and performance. Provide system technical support as needed

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Perform development functional and unit testing collaborating with QA teams to resolve defects.

• Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, user guides, and module descriptions.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with senior developers and team leads to understanding project requirements and deliverables.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or any related field or equivalent practical experience is an advantage
• At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in application development and programming using Visual Studio
• Dot Net (focused on ASP.Net MVC using C# and SQL Server)
• Hands-on experience in HTML, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, Entity Frameworks, OOP
• Hands on experience in web service development
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
