Energy Capital & Power (ECP) is an Africa-focused global leading investment platform for the energy sector. Through a series of events, online content and investment reports, ECP unites the entire energy value chain – from oil and gas exploration to renewable power – and facilitates global and intra-African investment and collaboration.

ECP is dedicated to bringing investment to all segments of the energy value chain in Africa and globally, including hydrocarbons exploration and production, gas-to-power, refining and petrochemicals, power infrastructure, nuclear energy and solar, wind and hydroelectric power. ECP puts a premium on creating connections and provides access to information and exposure to deals that African energy businesses need to grow.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and project teams to understand the brief and develop visual solutions that align with the project / company’s goals and brand identity.
• Follow time and production constraints in order to deliver projects within the designated timelines.
• Prepare mock-ups and present them to stakeholders before finalizing the design or concept.
• Edit proofs according to client's specifications and obtain signoff/approval before finalizing artwork.
• Adapt and roll out approved concepts to various media platforms, maintaining consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to update them on the progress of projects and address any issues that may arise.
• Work with external departments to extend concepts and visuals to other marketing materials.
• Ensure that all artwork is correct and supplied in the appropriate format, size, and colour codes before being sent out.
• Digital artwork for marketing campaigns.
• Support with website design and updates.
• 3D mapping and design.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, or similar
• 1-2 years experience
• Must submit a design portfolio showcasing your work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or other Adobe Creative Suite tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of both digital and print design principles, including large-format print specifications.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual composition.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
