Junior Datacom Network Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) – Graduate Program

Job Location:

Düsseldorf, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

This position acts as the customer interface for the Datacom product portfolio within our Network Assurance & O&M team taking over following responsibilities:

• Provide technical support service to our customers or partners independently or jointly with the technical support team, resolve product issues on customer networks to ensure customer network stable and safety
• Provide product maintenance support services for customers, such as product upgrade, service deployment and rollout, and cutover and migration, particularly for our datacom and storage portfolio
• Perform proactive management on the customer's network, such as health check, rectification and implementation, and develop solutions for identified network risks.
• Support training workshops for our customers and partners about product technology and service solution
• Occasionally take on-call shift support

Requirements:

• Recent graduate student with Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ICT or similar field of studies
• Familiar with the TCP/IP networking protocol and principles
• Familiar with networking technologies and products such as routers, switches, and firewalls, or knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and related technologies
• Motivated to work in an intercultural team, take ownership, and grow into a role with increasing responsibility

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and German (C1-C2 level) mandatory
