VES is seeking a Junior Data Scientist with an active security clearance to join our exciting team. This role provides the opportunity to develop technical and security-related skills while being part of a great team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong foundational skills in Python programming. The Junior Data Scientist in this role will process and analyze large datasets using Python while ensuring the security and integrity of the data is in full compliance with security protocols. This person will also assist in developing and implementing machine learning models using Python libraries. The ideal candidate has as basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. The candidate should have the ability to present complex data-related findings in a clear and concise manner.
The anticipated work location is in the Arlington, VA or Dahlgren, VA (we anticipate a position in each location).Travel: Infrequent local travel
