Job Description

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Execute queries in both relational and non-relational databases.
• Perform data cleansing and preprocessing.
• Analyze and resolve data issues.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting where is needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Performing exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
• Assess the performance of the models developed by the Data Scientists
• Communicate results with the rest of the team 

Main requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with Python-based libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy and Polars for data wrangling and preprocessing.
• Strong foundation in Python, with the ability to write clean and efficient code for production-ready projects and scalable solutions.
• Fundamental knowledge or exposure to Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries in Python (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Willingness to learn and stay up to date with emerging data science trends and new technologies.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self–motivation and passion to work with data.
• Eagerness for continuous professional development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Familiarity with SQL queries. Experience with MongoDB queries and the aggregation framework.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux.
• Basic understanding of AWS services
