Minimum requirements:
Technical Skills & Experience
A degree in Physics, Mathematics, Energy Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Experience with Git, APIs, CI/CD.
Communication & Consulting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. You can confidently explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A consultancy mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
Domain Mindset
An interest in understanding the business context behind the data and a willingness to engage with complex energy domain problems.
An affinity with energy systems, energy markets, and energy-related data, or a strong motivation to develop that expertise.
Enjoy working closely with machine learning engineers, energy domain experts, and clients to design the right data foundations for impactful solutions.
Nice to have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience working with machine learning systems, particularly forecasting, optimization, or decision-support applications.
Experience building data-intensive applications, platforms, or pipelines.
Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines (batch and streaming) and data platforms.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
Experience in the energy sector, utilities, or electricity markets.
