Salary up to JP¥7,000,000 annually

The Role

The ideal candidate will take on next-generation data application work. In the rapidly growing big data market, you will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake under the guidance of experienced senior members, thereby enhancing your skills. Your Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
  • Development and Operational Support for Data Pipelines: Supporting the development and daily operations of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL/ELT) processes using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Support for Data Migration Projects: Participating in the practical implementation of projects migrating on-premise Data Warehouses (DWH) to cloud-based DWHs (such as Snowflake) or Data Lakehouses (Databricks).
  • Assistance in Building Data Infrastructure: Assisting with environment configuration and small-scale component development in new data analytics infrastructure construction projects.
  • Documentation: Responsible for creating and updating design documents, operation manuals, and other types of documentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of practical work experience using SQL for data extraction and aggregation
  • Development experience using at least one programming language: Python, Java, or Scala
  • Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
  • Strong willingness and spirit of exploration regarding big data technologies and cloud services
  • Experience using any one of the major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (personal learning experience is acceptable)
  • Experience with basic Linux command-line operations and Shell scripting
  • Experience with version control using Git
  • Experience or learning background with Databricks or Snowflake
  • Basic knowledge of Data Warehouses (DWH) or Data Lakes
  • Experience using AI (such as Generative AI) for requirements gathering, documentation writing, or design assistance, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve business efficiency or quality, or a strong interest in exploring such applications
  • Understanding or interest in system architecture design predicated on AI (including architectural planning for AI applications)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate smoothly with team members
