JOB TITLE: Jr. Data Analyst

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/wk

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:43PM Hybrid- 3 days in-office a week

PROGRAM/LOCATION: CT Hope/CT Essential, Windsor, CT

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Detail-oriented and organized individual to maintain state and federal reporting functions in a timely and accurate manner in support of the organization’s contract compliance requirements. Provide basic analytical support for quality metrics.

By:

  • Data-mining, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and present salient findings.
  • Participating in the performance of a variety of duties involved in client tracking, and collecting, entering and maintaining data into federal mandated electronic data systems.
  • Reporting and analysis activities of CHR.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in collecting, tracking, managing all data and quality outcome reporting for the program
  • Works to reduce healthcare disparities whenever possible
  • Provides training and technical assistance
  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
  • Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Design and produce analyses using internal and external data to support programs and agency
  • Ability to collect business requirements through the development of writing specs.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist as necessary to test data for integrity and quality assurance.
  • Identify innovative ways streamline processes, and to increase client satisfaction.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting

Experience 1 to 3 years’ experience in data collection and analysis preferred. Previous experience in healthcare required; experience in mental health care preferred. Moderate to expert user of Excel. Tableau or Power BI experience preferred. Knowledge of relational databases, utilization of Microsoft Office products, data integrity and quality.

COMPENSATION*:

$18.00/hour minimum, and up commensurate upon experience.

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
