(Junior) Data Analyst (all genders) - based in Romania

rpc was founded in 2013 as a joint venture between the BMW Group and H&Z Unternehmensberatung AG and is represented in twelve countries with over 450 employees.

We are looking for mid-level consultants based in Romania to support and shape projects in Germany and around the world. This is a 100% remote position with low to moderate travel activity.

• You will work in a dynamic and international team of like minded individuals, driving data projects that enable scalable and reliable digital products for our customers
• You elicit business and technical requirements together with customers and internal stakeholders, structure them, and translate them into feasible user stories and concepts
• You support the agile design, implementation, and further development of IT, data, and software solutions
• You support the development, operation and maintenance of data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and loading data from various sources
• You help ensure data quality, consistency, and availability for reporting and analytics use cases
• You actively participate in testing phases (test concepts, test cases, acceptance testing, quality assurance) and ensure that solutions meet both business and technical requirements
• Depending on the project focus, you work in the context of data engineering, reporting, analytics, or software projects
• You take on project management tasks, such as coordination, alignment, and documentation
• As part of the interface between business departments, development teams, and management, you also support business development activities, including:
  • Preparation of proposals and offers
  • Creation and refinement of presentations and decision documents
  • Participation in pitches and customer workshops
  • Supporting the rollout of tools, platforms, and processes
• You will work in an environment of agile, lean, and continuous delivery approaches

• You have an educational background in information management, information technology, applied mathematics, or economics with a statistical package
• You will work in an international team with the flexibility of a fully home‑office role
• You have always been curious about why situations are arising and you are proactive in figuring it out in a data-driven, fact-based way
• You are not scared of delving into bigger data sets and identifying relevant information
• You are dedicated and comfortable in working in a stable environment for a longer time
• You are a team player and enjoy solving problems in a group setting, while also having the ability to work autonomously when needed
• You are able to prioritize tasks in a structured and transparent way
• Speaking English (B2) is a must, speaking German is a plus
• MS Office skills are a must
• SQL knowledge is a must
• Python and Java skills are a plus
• Experience in Data Visualization tools are a plus (QuickSight, Tableau, Qlik, …)
• Presentation skills are desirable
• Knowledge about Agile / Scrum are a plus
