What You Will Do:
Provide technical support and guidance in the collection, analysis, and visualization of various data.
Support data analysis and data visualization activities using tools such as Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, Socrata, and others.
Assist in creating, maintaining, and improving data products, reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Help gather, organize, validate, and analyze data to support transportation policy, program, and performance needs.
Collaborate with team members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis processes.
Respond to requests for data support and help ensure timely delivery of accurate information products.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, information systems, mathematics, economics, or a related field,
Zero(0) to Two(2) years of professional experience.
Experience or familiarity with one or more data analysis and visualization platforms, such as Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, or Socrata.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to collect, clean, analyze, and present data accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple priorities.
Must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Must work from the client HQ in Washington DC four days per week.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience supporting transportation data, policy, or performance reporting.
Familiarity with the U.S. DOT or highway policy information data environment.
Experience developing dashboards, reports, or visualizations for external or internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of data quality assurance practices and data management best practices.
Exposure to public-sector data collection, analysis, or reporting tools.
The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
