We are currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!

The Junior Data Analyst will play a key role in driving digital transformation by ensuring the availability of safe, accurate, and reliable data to enable data‑driven decision‑making. The role will contribute to the development of customer‑centric strategies and the optimization of marketing initiatives.

As part of the Customer Insight Team, the Junior Data Analyst will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of marketing reporting and analytical solutions. The role includes contributing to the design of predictive models and supporting initiatives that leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to advance marketing analytics capabilities.

The analyst will be responsible for enriching and maintaining marketing reporting systems and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data quality standards and governance policies. They will produce timely and actionable insights by integrating and analyzing multiple data sources, both internal and external, with the objective of maximizing the business impact of marketing activities.

A primary focus of the role is the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI and Snowflake, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, reliable, and actionable information to support strategic and operational marketing decisions.

The role involves working with a wide range of data sources, including customer data, campaign performance metrics, engagement indicators, and commercial data (e.g. opportunities, leads, and purchase history), translating complex datasets into clear visualizations and meaningful KPIs.

What kind of work will you be doing?

Core

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for the global marketing team, ensuring they are relevant, visually effective, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Write and optimize DAX measures to calculate KPIs, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Extract and transform data from Snowflake using SQL queries to feed reporting pipelines.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs through validation checks and quality controls.
  • Maintain and improve automated data flows between source systems, Snowflake, and Power BI.
  • Document BI solutions, data models, and reporting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with global marketing colleagues across regions to understand reporting needs and deliver insights within agreed timelines.

Secondary

  • Support AI/ML initiatives led by the team, contributing to data preparation, testing, and implementation of models that enhance marketing analytics.
  • Assist in exploring opportunities to apply automation and advanced analytics to existing reporting processes.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc data analysis requests that support pricing, customer segmentation, or campaign optimization.

What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related).
  • At least 6 months of hands-on experience (internship or work) with Power BI and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Power BI: report/dashboard design, data modeling, and DAX.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and basic transformations.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
  • Resilience: Maintain composure and productivity under pressure.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation tasks.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning concepts or AI tools.
  • Experience working in a matrix/global organization.
