Position Summary
The Junior Data Analyst supports the Business Intelligence function by assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of KPI reports and Power BI dashboards that track operational and financial performance. This role focuses on data preparation, cleaning, validation, and basic visualization to ensure accurate and reliable reporting across the organization. The Junior Data Analyst works collaboratively with Business Intelligence team members and finance leadership to support routine analysis and reporting needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- - KPI Visualization and Analysis

- - Support KPI tracking and monitoring for Finance and Business Intelligence teams.

- - Extract, clean, and prepare datasets for reporting.

- - Maintain and update existing Power BI dashboards as directed.

- - Contribute to enhancing dashboard visuals and layout to improve clarity and usability.

- - Analytical Support

- - Perform routine data analysis, trend reviews, and basic forecasting support.

- - Learn and apply foundational analytical techniques used in healthcare and financial reporting.

- - Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting

- - Partner with Business Intelligence team members to support regular reporting needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Licenses/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- Experience performing data analysis, reporting, or related analytical tasks gained through academic work, internships, or prior employment.
- Practical use of Power BI for creating or modifying basic reports.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and preparing datasets.
- Experience with analytical or statistical tools such as R or Python.
- Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git).
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of healthcare metrics, KPIs, and related operational concepts.
- Ability to perform structured analytical tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to present data findings in a clear and organized manner.
- Awareness of healthcare data requirements and applicable standards.
- Proficiency in using analytical and reporting tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and follow direction on more complex assignments.

Physical Demands
