Job Description

Underwrite new credit applications; perform risk assessments and conduct investigations as part of a thorough analysis of the loan file. Validate and assess credit, income, asset, fraud, etc. reports; manually review the merits of each case and deliver informed credit and lending decisions within guidelines and in line with SLAs.

Role Objectives: Delivery

Perform research and analysis to support the underwriting function; conduct basic financial analysis (e.g., collateral, cash flow, etc.). Perform credit analysis for moderate requests using automated scoring systems, with supervision as needed. Review forms and supporting documentation to validate applications, and ensure that updates are reflected in system records. Ensure that required information and documentation is accurate and complete. Perform basic due diligence and assist with investigations; research and respond to queries.

Role Objectives: Interpersonal

Perform day-to-day interaction with customers and partners to resolve queries and gather information and documentation to make appropriate decisions. Provide operational coverage across lending operations teams. Demonstrate excellent listening skills and openness to feedback in order to enhance personal and team productivity and performance. Demonstrated positive and professional attitude and reliability. .

Employ complex information and datasets, demonstrate ability to analyze, interpret and prepare commentary.
