We are seeking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Credit & Accounting Associate to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (with the possibility of an extension up to a maximum of 12 months total).

The Finance Department is looking for a Junior Credit & Accounting Associate in Greece

MISSIONS

Reporting to the CFO of Elastika Pirelli CSA, your objective will be to support the Finance Department in the daily management of accounting and credit control activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial operations. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a multinational environment and to develop expertise across a broad range of finance and accounting processes. The main responsabilities include:

  • Monitor customers’ ageing lists and collaborate with the sales team regarding follow up on overdue customer balances
  • Order releasing according to the company’s credit control procedures
  • Timely and accurate delivery of customers’ accounts statements
  • Provide daily support to the accounting department
  • Perform accounting postings, updating accounts receivable and payable and performing reconciliations
  • Assist the finance team with monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting closure and reporting

PROFILE

You have 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or similar finance-related role. A university degree or technical diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and are comfortable working with financial data. Previous hand-on experience with SAP is considered an advantage.

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data filtering, and you are able to work accurately with large volumes of data.

You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You are a proactive and motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn. You adapt quickly to new environments, ask quastions when needed, and thrive in a team-oriented setting.
