A Boutique Aviation and Yachting Lawfirm based in Valetta, Malta, urgently requires a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their small, highly specialized team. Working next to the Head of Practice, supporting the Firm’s HNW Clients on a variety of assignments that can range from client onboarding to company formation, this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career. Salary up to from €35K DOE

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts
• Make sure all Clients’ needs are attended to
• Offer sound legal advice on a variety of matters
• Provide strategic legal advice for both the Lawfirm and its Clients
• Make sure that all Clients comply with all regulatory requirements
• Oversee the Firm's and Clients’ adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience

• LLB / LLM and 2+ years' experience of working as a lawyer with a Corporate Services Provider, or in a corporate, legal, compliance or accountancy environment is required
• Solid experience with Maltese corporate law
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English and Maltese)
• A valid driving license
