Come and live your #LactalisExperience, join our Global Sales & Marketing team as a Junior Consumer Insight Manager, to reinforce the Consumer Insight team in France strategic zone.

From your Expertise to yours

His/her core responsibilities will consist in conducting special adhoc research, working cross functionally with Consumer Insight Managers, bringing research support to the local marketing teams and acting as a business partner in their innovation/renovation/brand development projects.

He/she will be responsible for ensuring the quality of ad hoc market research projects, driving decision making and looking for business opportunities by the appropriate use of Market Research results and consumer insights.

Main Responsibilities include the following

1. Lead ad hoc market research projects

  • Clarify marketing challenges and market research objectives.
  • For each project, define a market research plan and a suitable and consistent methodology, in line with Group Lactalis best practices, and choose the appropriate agency.
  • Be accountable for implementing the research projects (samples, questionnaires) and supervising the quality of services provided by the vendors.
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to make sure results are understood and used internally in the most business performing way.

2. Contribute to developing Consumer Insight expertise and nourish business partnership with the marketing teams

  • Contribute to marketing developments, using his/her consumer knowledge as “the voice of the consumer”.
  • Connect the dots between the different research/sources of consumer knowledge, to support the marketing teams in their strategic thinking.

3. Contribute to central research missions

  • Ensure regular reporting, on-going planning and follow-up of his/her market research activities and budgets, under Lactalis templates.

This position is available immediately on a permanent contract (CDI) in Paris (Héron Tower).

Your strengths

With an advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Economics or Business preferred and you have at least 3/5 years of proven experience in Market Research, either in a well-known institute, acknowledged as a reference in quantitative Adhoc research in FMCG, or in the Consumer Insight Department of a famous FMCG company.

An experience working in an international context would be helpful.

  • Strong analytical skills upon which to base decision making.
  • Competent with data and basic statistical understanding.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights in business implication, for inspiration.
  • Dynamic and proactive to push projects, with influential skills.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to connect the dots from multiple research projects, and to create a compelling storytelling.
  • Ability to be part of a team, and to work in a multi-functional networking environment, open-minded, and able to adapt to foreign working cultures.
  • Open and willing to develop technical skills in adhoc research.
  • Fluent in English, experience working in an international context would be helpful.
