Join Datwave (a BIP's Company)to accelerate your career in the world of Cloud and AI. As a Junior Cloud Data & AI Architect, you will work alongside senior experts to build next-generation data architectures and artificial intelligence solutions. Your goal will be to consolidate your strong software development and engineering foundations by applying them to the Google Cloud ecosystem. You will actively participate in developing data pipelines, setting up infrastructure through code, and experimenting with new Generative AI models.
What you will do:
· Design Support: Collaborate on drafting technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
· Software Development: Develop application modules, APIs, and automation scripts following programming best practices.
· IaC Development: Write and maintain Terraform modules for resource deployment.
· Data Engineering: Implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines on BigQuery.
· AI Development: Support model development on Vertex AI and prototype AI agent-based applications.
Will you be the one to join our team?
· Education: STEM Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
· Software Engineering (Hard Requirement): Solid knowledge of programming patterns (OOP), algorithms, and data structures. Proficiency in Python and/or Java/Go.
· Architectures & DB: Knowledge of software architecture principles (microservices, REST APIs) and excellent command of SQL.
· DevOps Mindset: Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and a strong interest in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
· Languages: Excellent Italian and good technical English.
Plus:
· GCP Experience: Previous hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Console, BigQuery, Cloud Run).
· Certifications: Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
· Containers: Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
· Research: Thesis or personal projects involving Vertex AI or Machine Learning models.
