We are looking for a Júnior Category Manager for the Non Food Category to join the Offer Management Department and report directly to the Non Food Category Manager. This professional is responsible for ensuring the growth and profitability of the Non-Food category through market and competitor analysis, strategic management of the supplier portfolio, optimization of product assortment, and execution of promotional plans, while ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with quality and sustainability standards, and alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities.

  • Assist in analyzing competitors and gather insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor business developments, ensuring compliance with product quality and sustainability standards, and suggest necessary adjustments to category strategies.

  • Assist in managing the supplier portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.

  • Support supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and timely product delivery.

  • Help maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring price competitiveness, product availability, and consistent adherence to quality standards.

  • Track and analyze category performance metrics (sales, margin, inventory), identifying gaps and defining improvement plans to increase profitability.

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of promotional plans to boost category performance.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize product assortment and availability across customer segments.

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to improve forecasting accuracy by linking trends, seasonality, and promotions to support better inventory management and sales planning.

  • Provide insights on product placement and marketing strategies to drive sales.

  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies, including issues related to competition, dumping, and labeling standards.

  • Collaborate with Pricing and Operations teams to ensure competitive pricing strategies and product positioning.

  • Conduct assortment reviews, identifying items to remove and add within the category under their responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles.

  • Proficiency in English (minimum level B1).

  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Goal and results-oriented.

  • Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation skills.
