Es responsable de procesar de manera oportuna y precisa las transacciones diarias del área de Accounts Receivable, asegurando la correcta aplicación de los pagos recibidos en diferentes modalidades (transferencias, cheques y tarjetas de crédito).
El rol es fundamental para garantizar el cumplimiento de los controles internos, principios contables (GAAP) y demás regulaciones aplicables, contribuyendo a la conciliación bancaria, el soporte a procesos de cobranza y el mantenimiento de registros confiables para auditoría.
Entre sus principales responsabilidades se encuentran:
· Procesar y aplicar pagos de clientes en diferentes divisas y modalidades.
· Garantizar la conciliación entre extractos bancarios y remesas recibidas.
· Gestionar pagos no aplicados y apoyar en la resolución de discrepancias.
· Elaborar y mantener reportes de cuentas por cobrar.
· Colaborar en los procesos de cierre contable mensual.
· Coordinar con clientes, bancos y equipos internos para resolver consultas e inconsistencias.
· Asegurar el cumplimiento de políticas internas, controles financieros y lineamientos de salud, seguridad y ética corporativa.
Formación académica: Técnico, tecnólogo o profesional en Contabilidad, Finanzas, Administración o áreas afines.
Conocimientos básicos de principios contables (GAAP)
Experiencia: Entre 1 y 3 años de experiencia en Cuentas por Cobrar, Cash Application o funciones transaccionales de finanzas.
Deseable experiencia en ambientes de alto volumen transaccional y/o empresas multinacionales.
Se recomienda tener visa vigente para Estados Unidos.
