Job Description

Junior Buyer
An exciting opportunity for someone wanting to build a career in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain within a rapidly growing African business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Senior Buyers with sourcing, quotations, supplier communication, and procurement administration
  • Learn procurement processes across various company divisions and industries
  • Assist in obtaining competitive pricing, lead times, and supplier information
  • Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier communication
  • Work closely with logistics, admin, dispatch, and finance teams to ensure smooth order flow
  • Learn where and how to source products at the best quality, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Assist in maintaining procurement records, systems, and communication trails
  • Continuously develop product and supplier knowledge across mining, construction, oil & gas, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
  • Train and grow toward becoming a Senior Buyer
