The CIO Office is a transversal department, working for the IT of the group. This aim of this area is foster a consolidated view of IT, that is split in various business units, enabling enhanced management and communication for the scope.

The CIO Office operates in close connection with the support functions, to promote more efficient channels of communication for management control.

The main areas of scope of the CIO Office are: Project based management, associated with resources, activities and planning control. In addition, it includes control activities associated with KPI implementation and monitoring, financial and Budget control. As well, the CIO Office aims to harmonize the practices and rules, to facilitate a cross-cutting understanding of the challenges and the needs.

Main tasks and goals:

As a Junior Business Management Officer within the CIO Office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency of the teams, by supporting them in the resource management, time tracking and portfolio project management activities. A good understanding of the processes as well as the business needs, coupled with good communication skills, will be key to support the users worldwide. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • User Support and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for approximately 6,000 users globally, providing timely and reliable support via various channels.
  • Administrative Functions: Manage and resolve tickets by executing updates and processes within tools such as Saphir Ressource and Activ-BPCE. These tools are integral to time tracking, resource management, and project portfolio management.
  • Project Involvement: Participate actively in the ongoing deployment of the Activ-BPCE time tracking tool. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that the tool meets business needs effectively. Your proactive approach will be crucial in facilitating smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the product team to identify opportunities for enhancing the time tracking solution. Your insights should be translated into user stories and technical feature requests, to gradually align further the tool with the business needs.
  • Business Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of business activities and processes by collaborating with both the project and product teams.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with various departments and stakeholders—including Finance, IT, Operations, and Compliance—to address issues and gather requirements related to financial topics. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively will be key to successful collaboration.
  • KPI Management: Support the production, review, and updating of the support KPIs, as well as monitor project KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Given the significant volume of francophone end users you will engage with, fluency in French, both written and spoken, is a requirement for this role. This proficiency will enable you to effectively address support requests and ensure adherence to established processes.

Qualifications

  • Up to 2 years’ experience in customer support, management control, and/or project management.
  • You are curious, solutions-driven, and ready to achieve missions in a complex environment within the project team.
  • You will need to demonstrate great listening, adaptability, and interpersonal skills, and strongly enjoy working in a team.
  • Your analytical and synthetic thinking will allow you to better understand and face the projects´ challenges.
  • Knowledge of French - B2 mandatory
  • Knowledge of English - B2 mandatory

O centro tecnológico idealizado para Portugal será estruturado como uma extensão de todas as atividades de TI do Grupo e dos diversos segmentos de negócio (Retail, Corporate and Investment Bank e Central Function). O projeto ATLAS teve o seu início em março de 2017 com o arranque da sua operação no Porto e contratação de primeiros recursos humanos altamente qualificados. As novas instalações foram formalmente inauguradas a 07/03/2018.
