Junior Business Analyst (Data & Analytics)

Contract Position | Miami Lakes, FL

Our client is a leading energy company seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Miami Lakes, Florida. This 12-month contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational and financial analyses that drive critical business decisions in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed decision-making within the business unit
• Lead medium to large special projects involving quantitative and qualitative research
• Design and modify business processes to improve operational efficiency
• Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL
• Apply standardized tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and present data for business insights
• Work extensively with data analysis, market intelligence, and modeling to support business strategies
• Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling, locational analysis, segment analysis, growth modeling, and propensity modeling
• Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints
• Drive projects forward to build a more complex customer data environment with enhanced tools and capabilities
• Support business performance tracking through advanced analytics and reporting

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Experience: 0-5 years of experience in business analysis, data management, or process improvement
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL required
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Location: Must be able to work on-site in Juno Beach, FL (No remote work available)
