We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst to join our analytics team and become a hands-on thinking partner to the business. This role is built for someone early in their career who is sharp, curious, and hungry to turn data into decisions that move the needle. You won't just pull numbers - you'll frame the right questions, dig into how the product and business are performing, and help leaders act with confidence.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Analyze product and business performance across funnels, retention, engagement, conversion, and core business metrics, and clearly surface what's working and what isn't.
• Turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and sharp, actionable answers.
• Partner directly with product, marketing, operations, and finance stakeholders to support day-to-day and strategic decisions with insight - not just reports.
• Build and maintain the dashboards, trackers, and reporting that teams rely on, and keep metrics consistent and trustworthy.
• Track the numbers that matter, spot trends and anomalies early, and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
• Support the design and read-out of experiments (A/B tests) and measure the impact of product and business launches.
• Use SQL and spreadsheets as tools to get to the insight, and translate findings into simple, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to a culture of self-service analytics by making data easier for teams to understand and reuse.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 2-3 years in a business, product, or strategy analytics role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to break down a vague question and structure a clear answer.
• A product and business mindset: you care about the "so what," not just the chart.
• Proficiency in SQL is a must.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for modelling and analysis.
• Excellent communication - able to tell a simple story from complex data and influence decisions.
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn across product, growth, and business functions.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA) or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).
• Familiarity with experimentation / A/B testing.
• Basic Python or scripting for analysis.
• Interest in the consumer-tech / Bharat-first product space.
