Job Description

Rockwool is seeking a dynamic Junior Business Analyst to join our Finance team on a Fixed-Term Contract This is an in-office role with no remote option in Milton, ON You will provide analytical support to Sales and Marketing by generating business metric reports and insights to drive pricing, margin analysis, and customer profitability. You will also streamline workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

What you will be doing:

  • Enhance and accelerate reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze business trends, track performance, and recommend strategic actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective reporting tools for Sales and Marketing.
  • Provide key sales reports, including volume analysis, regional insights, and customer profitability assessments.
  • Support pricing strategies by maintaining competitive pricing databases and analyzing profitability by region, customer, and product.
  • Lead regional meetings to discuss market trends and future strategies.
  • Assist other Rockwool divisions, such as Grodan, with sales reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with business partners to optimize processes and maximize data-driven decision-making.

What you bring:

  • University/College degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA is an asset but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with business systems like SAP (nice to have).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in working with data, ensuring 100% accuracy in reporting.
  • Availability to work in-office full-time (no remote option).
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required.

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the compensation of employees in similar positions.
