We are looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Brand Manager to join our Henkel Consumer Brands team in Romania. In this role, you will contribute to the development and growth of a portfolio of brands, while gaining exposure to brand strategy, product launches, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. What you´ll do

  • Support the management of assigned brands or categories, working closely with cross-functional teams (digital, trade marketing, sales, operations) and with regional stakeholders.
  • Support the adaptation and implementation of new product launches and relaunches, from local preparation and internal coordination to trade presentations and consumer activation.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of local marketing strategies, communication plans and promotional activities that support brand growth.
  • Collect and analyze internal and external data (sales, market share, profitability, competition and shopper behavior) to identify trends, opportunities and potential actions.
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing and promotional dynamics, providing relevant insights to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to annual brand plans, activation calendars and go-to-market activities for assigned brands.
  • Support the planning and management of marketing investments, tracking budgets and campaign performance against agreed objectives.
  • Prepare regular business performance reports and presentations for management and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the adaptation and development of local communication, media, point-of-sale and promotional materials.
  • Conduct regular market visits to capture shopper and customer insights and monitor in-store execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Supply Chain and international marketing teams to ensure effective execution of brand initiatives.

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Trade Marketing or related activities, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Good understanding of the marketing mix and key commercial drivers, with an interest in developing further knowledge of brand P&L.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Structured and hands-on approach, with strong organizational, planning and project management skills.
  • Proactive mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and develop solutions.
  • Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Creativity, flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ethics, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Romanian and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to contribute to innovation and change.
