Processing monthly Payroll
Preparation and submission of PAYE returns
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Completion of tax returns
Regular communication with clients (telephonic and email)
Preparation of annual financial statements and working paper files

Qualifications and Experience:
Matric is essential plus tertiary qualification
English; high level of competency verbal and written
5 years experience in bookkeeping, with strong financial acumen and understanding
Experience in a similar position is a distinct advantage
Knowledge of accounting principles and VAT
Understanding of e-filing
Working knowledge of Pastel Evolution
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level) and Pastel is essential
