Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide legal counsel and representation on wage and hour issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of wage and hour statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Draft and review essential legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Aid in the preparation for administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and court hearings related to wage and hour disputes.
• Participate in client meetings, depositions, and witness interviews.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive case files and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in wage and hour laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience
• Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
• Two to four years of legal practice, preferably with a focus on wage and hour matters.
• Class action experience and PAGA experience required.
• Familiarity with California wage and hour laws and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.

Skills

• Knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence.

Locations: Emeryville (CA), Los Angeles (CA), Houston (TX), or Chicago (IL)

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000
