The company operates through two specialized business units: ISD, which delivers IT-focused services, and Asteri, which specializes in Freight Forwarding and Shipping, Finance, Human Resources, and Process Consultancy. JUNIOR ASSOICATE – SHIPPING AND FREIGHT FORWARDING
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare and send cargo arrival notices.
Finalize inward cargo manifests and coordinate with Main Line Operators for customs reporting.
Identify special cargo such as transshipment and groupage cargo and inform relevant parties accordingly.
Ensure accurate and timely updates to the TLM system.
Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo operations.
Maintain proper cargo records and documentation.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics or an equivalent.
Minimum of 6 passes at GCE O/L, including a Credit (C) in Mathematics.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work extended hours when required.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Work will follow the Maldives calendar, with working hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The position allows up to four (4) days of work from home per week
