Auckland | Investment & Wealth Management
My Client is a well-established investment and wealth management firm with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand.
They take a client-first approach, tailoring investment strategies to individual goals with transparency, clear communication, and ongoing support. The business is grounded in prudent, long-term investing, with a focus on capital diversification, disciplined risk management, and keeping the investment process clear and straightforward. Backed by international capability and global market access, they combine boutique-level client intimacy with institutional strength.
They are seeking a Junior Associate Adviser to join their Auckland team. This opportunity is ideal for someone in the early stages of their advisory career who is keen to build strong technical foundations while learning directly from experienced advisers.
You will support senior advisers in delivering high-quality client outcomes while developing the capability to take on greater advisory responsibility over time. This is a structured pathway role with clear progression into full advisory capacity as experience and confidence grow.
As a Junior Associate Adviser, you will play a key support role within the advisory team, contributing to portfolio management, client servicing, and regulatory compliance. Over time, you will gain increasing exposure to client engagement and investment decision-making.
Support senior advisers with portfolio reviews, client reporting, and preparation of investment proposals
Assist with the preparation of advice documentation and ensure all material aligns with regulatory requirements
Attend client meetings alongside advisers, taking notes and supporting follow-up actions
Liaise with administration and investment teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing service delivery

Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation meets compliance standards
Represent the business professionally in all client and external interactions
A genuine interest in financial markets and long-term wealth management
1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, investment operations, or an associate support role
Strong organisational skills with close attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn under mentorship
Professional presentation and a client-focused approach
You may currently be working in a banking support role, investment operations, paraplanning, or as a junior associate within a wealth or advisory firm. You are technically capable, commercially aware, and motivated to grow into a fully authorised Investment Adviser over time.
You value structure, mentorship, and a clear development pathway. You are prepared to build your expertise step-by-step, earning increased client exposure and responsibility as your experience and capability develop.
