POSITION: ARCHITECT LOCATION: AMRITSAR

The India-based company focuses on leading the contemporary design conversation and using the unknown and the untried as synonymous with its design language. Our approach is "hands-on", meaning that we keep our clients involved every step of the way.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Junior Architect to join our dynamic architectural team. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their architectural skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assist senior architects in various stages of design, planning, and project execution.
Responsibilities

• Design Support: Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts for projects.
• Technical Drawings: Prepare and revise technical drawings, CAD models, and digital representations of architectural plans.
• 3D Modeling & Visualization: Use software tools like SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, or AutoCAD to create 3D models and renderings.
• Project Documentation: Assist in preparing presentation materials, client reports, and project documentation.
• Site Visits: Support senior architects during site inspections to ensure projects are progressing according to plan and to assist with quality control.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment and integration of project requirements.
• Learning & Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to improve architectural knowledge and skills.

Requirements
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or related field).
Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawing techniques and design principles.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus.
•

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction and be open to feedback.
• Experience:
  • Previous internships or academic projects in architecture are a plus but not required.
